Dr. Thomas Kupiec is the CEO
of Analytical Research Laboratories (ARL)
and DNA Solutions Inc. Dr. Kupiec received
his Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Sciences from
the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences
Center College of Pharmacy. He currently
serves as a graduate faculty member at the
OU Health Sciences Center and has held teaching
appointments at several universities. He
has published numerous articles and abstracts
in a variety of fields including pharmaceutical
sciences, forensic sciences and pharmacogenomics.
Dr. Kupiec is often requested as a speaker
at national pharmaceutical conferences and
has spoken at ASHP, IACP, ACA and for state
pharmaceutical associations.
Dr. Kupiec’s vision of entrepreneurial
research is manifested by his responsibilities
at DNA Solutions and ARL, which include supplying
technical expertise and business development
in the pharmaceutical and forensic fields.
Additionally, Dr. Kupiec offers consultation
services for a variety of pharmacy related
fields as well as expert witness testimony
in the fields of forensic toxicology and
pharmaceutical sciences. He has testified
in over a hundred cases, both civil and criminal,
in federal, state and municipal courts. His professional experience includes various
appointments at Northwest Toxicology Inc.
(NWT), the Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA) and the Oklahoma City Police Department.
Dr. Kupiec is affiliated with numerous professional
organizations, including the American Academy
of Forensic Sciences, American Association
of Pharmaceutical Scientists, American Society
of Health-System Pharmacists, the Society
of Forensic Toxicologists, and Sigma Xi,
The Scientific Research Society.

Dr. Brandt Cassidy is
Director of Operations for DNA Solutions.
He has over 20 years of laboratory experience in
DNA analysis and is nationally recognized
as an expert in DNA research and analysis. Dr.
Cassidy joined the company in 1999 when DNA Solutions
purchased Ardmore Biological Analysis, in which
Dr. Cassidy served as President and CEO. Prior
experience includes serving as a Scientist with
the prestigious Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation,
and as an adjunct Assistant Professor with Oklahoma
State University.
Dr. Cassidy is an experienced lecturer and writer,
who has hosted and given numerous lectures to
various groups including law enforcement, attorneys,
state agencies and scientific breeders. He has
authored numerous publications, abstracts and
book chapters.
Dr. Cassidy is an active member
of numerous professional groups including Association
of Forensic DNA Analysts and Administrators,
American Association for the Advancement of Science,
and HITA (Human Identification Trade Association). Dr. Cassidy received his bachelor’s degree
in biology from Iowa State University and his Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Baylor College
of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Nicole Vu is the Scientific Director for Analytical Research Laboratories and it's sister company DNA Solutions. She is focused on ensuring the science and technology that both companies utilize is of the highest quality. Before joining the team in 2004, Dr. Vu spent over a decade with the Federal Aviation Administration in the Forensic Toxicology and Bioaeronautical Sciences Research Laboratory where she served as a Research Chemist and later as Team Leader to conduct research in Aviation Toxicology and Toxicogenomics.
Her professional experiences also includes appointments as Specialist in Immunohematology at OU Medical Center, and adjunct professor in Forensic Serology at the University of Central Oklahoma.
Dr. Vu is affiliated with various professional organizations including American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, and is an active member of Institutional Biosafety Committee at OU Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Vu educational credentials include a bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry from The University of the Ozarks, a bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from Arkansas State University and a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from The University of Oklahoma, Health Sciences Center. Dr. Vu has also received a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The College of Pharmacy at the University of Oklahoma, Health Sciences Center. She currently serves as a graduate faculty member at the OU Health Sciences Center and has adjunct teaching appointments at OU College of Pharmacy.

Gary Cook is CFO and Vice President of Finance and Administration of Analytical Research Laboratories (ARL) and DNA Solutions Inc. Gary is responsible for finance, strategic planning, human resources, information technology and customer service.
Prior to joining ARL and DNA, Gary was corporate controller for Vac Corporation, a U.S. subsidiary of Siemens. He also served in several financial management positions for Fleming Companies in Oklahoma City. Gary received his bachelor’s degree in finance from The University of Central Oklahoma and is a certified public accountant.

Tommy Means is the Quality Manager for Analytical Research Laboratories (ARL) and DNA Solutions Inc. He is focused on ensuring that Quality Systems for both companies are functional and operational. This includes ISO, FDA, USP, DEA, EPA & AABB compliance and regulations.
Tommy’s professional background includes work in Gas Chromatography, Project Management, Quality Control / Quality Assurance and Vendor Auditing. Tommy is a member of the American Society of Quality, The Institute of Validation Technology & American Association of Blood Banks.
Prior to joining ARL and DNA, Tommy was part of the Research and Development team of Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company. Tommy received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Northwestern Oklahoma State University.

Greg Thomas is Vice President Business Development for Analytical Research Laboratories. He has over 30 years experience in global sales and marketing for chemical suppliers. Greg joined ARL in April 2010. Prior experience includes serving as vice president of Global Sales and Marketing for Kerr-McGee and Tronox, the Chemical subsidiary.
Greg has a BS in Geomechanics from the University of Rochester and MS in Industrial Administration from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management. |

Russell Gotschall, is the Laboratory Director for Analytical Research Laboratories (ARL). He graduated from Wichita State University with a Master in Biology. Russell has 14 years of experience in the health care and biotechnology industry. His previous employers were Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City and Genzyme in Oklahoma City.
His research and development work has involved: enzyme replacement therapies, recombinant proteins, renal, oncology, mineral metabolism, genetic disease, immunology portfolios, pre-clinical pharmacokinetic and pharmcodynamics studies.
Russell has authored over 20 peer reviewed paper and has presented at national and international scientific conferences. He was also the recipient of the Watkins Young Investigator Life Science Award. |
