The objective of these studies are to determine physical and/or chemical compatibility of a test drug between a series of drugs commonly used in surgical and post-operative patients by simulated Y-site co-administration. The information derived from these studies is useful in documenting the stability and/or compatibility between the test drug and the other drugs and solutions when using simultaneous drug delivery for application to the post-operative clinical care environment in hospital and possibly outpatient surgery settings.
