ARL utilizes enriched media, specifically designed for the growth of fungal, yeast, and molds. Its selective properties, lower pH and high dextrose concentration, inhibit many bacteria from growing.  This test media is also incubated for 14 days at 25º C. The lower temperature and the enriched media will accelerate the growth of fungal, yeast, and mold. Their growth can often be seen within a 4 –5 day incubation. A preliminary fungal report is available after 4 days of incubation. So when a company wants to go the extra mile, we’ll go with you.
